the trust levels are based on stats, so for that tracking must be necessary?

displaying those stats is a different matter though, I guess

there's a way to disable the users directory at least

and also hide user pages from the public, don't see anything beyond that

you can override templates in a plugin, but the tracking info is still available from the api https://community.metabrainz.org/users/bitmap.json

"order=days_visited" when ordering that column suggests it might be about how many days you've gone to the forums? Which would be easier to track, but also useless :p
