FWIW, tinyhippo talked about maybe being able to provide some hardware and/or bandwidth. I'm not sure if what they have would be applicable to us, but I told them to contact zas in any case.

if we had a small piece to break out, that would be very useful.

At some point in mid-January, the number of requests started to increase quite a bit.

Basically just a heads up that applications deadline was this Friday. We got a total of 19 applications, a couple of which were spam, some were of questionable quality, but a fair amount were good proposals that we're currently looking through.

And a remind to the mentors to look through the proposals when you have time and mark the ones you'd like to mentor so ruaok and I can have an overview of the lay of the land. :)
