I think what I've been doing is a bit stupid, I wanted to query for the first and last track of a folder, see if it's in the same release, then get the release and check that track length is correct

is Picard using taglib? (I'm using it from nodejs, it doesn't report "album artist" and I wonder where that limitation comes from

mutagen, not taglib

I guess the tag name in the files will vary depending on the format, albumartist is just the name picard maps them all to

you can check under picard/formats/*.py to see how albumartist gets mapped for various formats

Well, mostly security upgrades (glibc), upgraded grafana, fixed sentry stuff with Gentlecat

and started research about docker, and the advantages/inconvenients to use it for our infrastructure

plus various fixes, merged PR (userscripts), and usual maintennace

and we finally sort out the migration issues

not really

yes, you can deploy docker containers using chef

we can do less chef in the long run.

I’m in Canada on semi-vacation...finally over jet-lag and bronquitis and can think about working...

I've been working on the dialog box for displaying more tracks (other than the one automatically tagged) in Picard.

Basic UI and functionality is ready, and one can see additional tracks in that box. Though, it does only this much currently.

Some digging into Picard. Looked into existing methods and working.

I got some good planning in with LordSputnick and got a gantt chart showing how I will spend my time on the project

Set up the environment again due to some schema changes

(still having issues but a db dump should fix when i get it)

added my tables to the schema and ready to get designing badges and working on the code once the db is sorted :D
