I got screwed by the easter bunny, so fuck that noise.
ferbncode will be around too.

Okay, good enough for me. :)
loujine: What's your username on MB/the forums?
samj1912 zas Sophist-UK et al: Can we set "main branch" of picard-plugins to 2.0? Or if that's too early, at least set it to 1.0? "master" doesn't seem the appropriate main branch anymore.
Sophist-UK
I'm ok with that - though I think it would be better for it to match (in some fashion) the branches in gh:Picard.
Then again, calling v2 branch master makes it seem that any commits to that branch affect both versions.

Freso, samj1912, zas: A quick look at the gh repo shows we have master, 1.0 and 2.0 branches - so now I am quite confused.

Sophist-UK: ./generate.py maps None and "1.0" to the "master" branch and "2.0" to the "2.0" branch.

Leo_Verto: And the picard-plugins-v2-git package should now really-really work. :)
zas
We preserve compatibility of the API with pre 2.x, plugins API was v1 but was using the master branch only. Now, thanks to recent changes samj1912 made, the API has changed to handle versions/branches but Picard already released versions don't handle it
Freso
zas: ?
Leo_Verto
Freso, great, thanks! :D
zas
what i mean is: master branch == 1.0 branch for now, 2.x plugins branches are for Picard 2.x only
Freso
(I'm not sure what that is a reply to/comment on.)
zas
about plugins/versions/branches
Freso
zas: Right. But there is also a "1.0" branch.
zas
yes, because the new generate plugins code handles it (more for testing purposes than anything), so 1.0 plugins are also served with the same url scheme as 2.0 (in addition of old way)
Freso
zas: The current ./generate.py checks out "master" for both None and "1.0".
zas
yes, expected, since 1.0 is in fact master branch atm, but it is supposed to be able to handle any version/branch
Mineo
I think it would be good to have that written down somewhere. I think the only two people who know how the varios picard repos, branches and versions interact right now and what the plans are, are you and samj1912
