chirlu`: That script works, but when I replace marker-icon.png with missing-art.svg, the request is made over and over again. All 200s.

Hello everyone! I've been travelling for the past few days and I'll be continuing to for a bit. I wanted to clarify some things brought up here in the meanwhile.

stanlisas: I don't quite understand why having spent a lot of time would make you abandon your task instead of the opposite, but anyway I hadn't realized you had spent so much time on that task. I myself have had at least 10 entire days of effort in this contest wasted thanks to someone else's actions. I understand what it feels like. I apologize to you again about your having had to unclaim that task.

stanlisas: I had worked for an unclaimed task; I agree with you here. Freso kindly explained how this situation wasn't desirable, I understood, and I said I would try to avoid it. I think it's not about being perfect but about understanding mistakes and moving on; you would agree with here, right?

With opatel99's claimed task, I abandoned PR #27's task because I knew I wouldn't, couldn't, finish it in time because of my travelling.

opatel99: If one claimed a task and was unable to complete it, one should not apologize to the next person to claim the task. However, because of confusion in the situation here you had to unclaim the task as a consequence of actions of mine, so I apologize.

Regarding the confusion in the situation, I think I could have prevented much of it by making explicit in a note that I was in fact abandoning the task. I understand this, and I'll try to remember this for the future. I apologize to everyone about its consequences this time
