my grooming last week....I learned a lot about MBIDs and the 7 other numeric identifiers used for music. It is quite fascinating, and intricate--and I also reviewed the Tower of Babble.

I wrote and continued some correspondence with supporters and potential supporters and we have a few more in the wings.

I also had a meeting with ruaok, we reviewed accounting issues, discussed MBIDs, messaging and some follow ups. It was a very productive 2 hour meeting, I was pleased-I hope ruaok was too....

yep, so pleased, I forgot all the details.

I worked on rewording and coming up with verbiage options for the UX portion of the User Survey.

lol...good thing I take notes ruaok ;)

notes fine. gantt charts, less so.

I worked with Gentlecat on the payments view of the MeB admin web.

I'll gantt up a review of the meeting just for you :)

I also spent time to put the social media banner up for a vote on the forums, and got a lot of responses and critiques--which is great! I think as we are a week past the beginning of the vote, we should continue with this vote and proceed with quarterly social media banner contests in the future to ensure the voice of the MeB community is being heard--this

is only my latest suggestion, so we see.....

I finished implementing EUR payment stuff on the metabrainz website

but it should be working now

I also reviewed another set of changes for CB

made some updates to brainzutils package

typically in this scenario I would be referencing a brand guidelines book, that has been carefully laid out by the entity/business. But we don't have one. So i tried to pull guidelines from the graphics, looks and images that we do have.

I mean: as an initial placement beore we actually get any real banners, then whatever is fine

for the actual selection/contest/whatever, a more open vote must be selected, including promoting said vote in irc, the blog, twitter etc

if we do a contest--I suggest we start in June --give a month for the process and have a winner chosen and up by July 1st.

as it stands, my, (and I believe freso as well heh) voe would be for banner10, since it's not in the voting que, i abstain

the concept of banner 10 is in the poll--it is banner 5 in the poll. It has a white background. It too can be changed. nothing about this has permanence.

all of it is graphics. nothing in the world of socail media banner needs to be permanent.
