It seems I'm slowly starting to understand what I'm supposed to be doing xD I'm currently toying with some UI code for search results written for earlier gsoc 2015 search project by ruchiranga (& bitmap). Idea is that most of the UI will be new (except search results components for artist & area entities). I still have quite little concrete to report but story continues next week ;)

This week I worked on fixing my pull request for MB database access using the musicbrainz-test-database: https://github.com/metabrainz/musicbrainz-serve.... thanks to bitmap for all the great help.

Well, I worked on admin tools to report spammers, but for the current job scripts will do.

(First meeting we've had all five GSoC students review! 🙌)

I also fixed an issue with admin revocation of user editing/voting, tried to debug tests renderer issue and reviewed PRs.

We all had a fantastic time, learnt lots from Google and talked about MetaBrainz and BookBrainz

anshuman73 and arthelon both gave a great joint presentation on MetaBrainz, and we got a nice mention by the guy in charge of open source stuff at Google

CatQuest: all food can be replaced by chocolate, as evident by the bar of Milka on my table right now

Then I came back, and fixed the bookbrainz-site testing

LordSputnik: is there a video of the presentation somewhere?

And then merged a PR by arthelon which upgrades us to npm5 and fixes dependency versions that get installed. This makes the environment more reproducible between users

Now just working on fixing our coverage reporting, and then I'll be merging the new entity display pages and making a new BookBrainz release
