hi there - using the docker container to host my own mirror, but I'm getting some issues with the web ui. It's trying to request a bunch of localhost references, which obviously won't work from remote. Is there a list of config places I could refer to so I can make the appropriate changes?

can you guys answer questions about that

it looks like there is a code that i get after it installs ... unique?

if i use that to buy the license, can i also install it on another computer?

AFAIK, mp3 magic tagger is unrelated to metabrainz so i doubt you'll get an answer about it here, but we have a free audio files tagger called Picard, see https://picard.musicbrainz.org/

you may want to give it a try, it is using MusicBrainz database of course

i'll move to sunnyvale on friday morning, for now, i'm enjoying SF and people here, my airbnb is so sanfranciscan, and i'm 300m away from a 360° point of view ove r all the city. Plus there are wild animals i'm not used to see, great. Food is great too, i take kid menus only, american adult portions are abnormally big here ;)

batman_: the Magic Tagger is one of our affiliates (they give us some money to use our data) but we don't develop it and can't offer support for it, you can ask at https://www.magic-tagger.com/eng/index.php if you still have questions :)

Honestly, I'd probably just get rid of both boxes and button

There's other ways to do this

I use it every once in a while, but I don't think I'd miss them too much.

I think removing it doesn't waste much time, yet it at least makes it so people need to visit the RG page before merging and are more likely to notice if something is broken

That's even more true for recordings, but I guess there it would have more of an effect

(because I imagine more people merge those)

I have a question; I'm currently writing an application using the musicbrainz api.. as the policy states, i have to throttle to perform a max of 1 request per second. is there a chance I can remove this limitation from my application by getting in contact with musicbrainz? or is that a No in generell?

T_: right now, unless I'm mistaken, only if you run them against your own copy of the server

(even our own Picard project follows the 1 per second rule, so it's not some "we want money from you" thing, it's a general restriction)
