worked a lot on LB data dumps this week

Freso: Nothing from me today :)

I have pull requests up for dumping listens and the Postgres DB right now

also worked on a page for showing the artists a person has listened to the most in a bar graph (although this is much of a WIP)

I also spent some time reading AB code to understand our code better in general, opened a PR there (small doc change)

really successful SoC summit - I ran a session about collaboration between orgs for Soc

with a kind-of-focus on musicbrainz

had an interesting discussion with mixxxdj and dbpedia, some possible collaborations there

I met with Felipe, who is the BigQuery developer advocate - he gave a talk

I've had a bit of talk with Mixxx people as well.

They seem interested... but undermanned. :)

we grabbed an office and did some hacking / he gave me some suggestions on how to better our BQ infrastructure, I'll take a look at that

some other good talks about making PRs and first point of contact for new contributors nicer

maybe we can take a look at this in the future - mostly around automating all parts of the PR process that can be, so that the human interaction is more useful

well, I did a bit of sir and mbs code review

then worked on finishing this ticket to generate a test/sample data dump

it uses a few hard coded artists and then crawls the db to get related info... but it crawls too much info right now :) I just need to fix that

also did other boring stuff like fixing our selenium tests, which a chrome update broke

I did some work on getting DuckDuckGo to index us.

Which in turn meant getting Yahoo! to index us.

(us = MusicBrainz)

Which in turn meant getting Bing to index us.

There has been no MB server release since the Summit 17. Be reassured that the usual 2 weeks release cycle is going to start again, next beta will be released in the following hours.
