reosarevok: needed it for a cleanup
      • bitmap: also, ruaok got us apple dev prog. membership again, can you help me with signing the builds? the relevant docs are here https://pyinstaller.readthedocs.io/en/stable/us...
      • I will fix and merge the osx pr for now
      • bitmap
        yep, found that
      • this will be a manual process then? not sure how to do that on travis, particularly adding things to the keychain
      • hmm, I guess there is a cli interface to it
      • samj1912
I am not sure how to do it on travis either, but yeah, I think it might have to be manual
      • and also I am not sure how we will publish it on app store
      • bitmap
if you have the new credentials, can you update AppleDevProgram in syswiki
      • samj1912
ruaok: added my personal account as a dev member
      • He should have the original creds though
      • I can add your email I think
      • ruaok
can you also make bitmap and admin? if not, I can.
      • samj1912
ruaok: Im not an admin, so I dont think I can
      • ruaok
        you're not?
      • huh
      • samj1912
        nope, just a member
      • hmm, bitmap weirdly enough, no triggers are associated with comments
      • which is a bug (I think)
      • oh, nvm, the release trigger has the comment part
      • or so I guess
      • ruaok
        check your private email, bitmap.
      • samj1912: you're an admin now
      • samj1912
        bitmap: updated the sir PR
      • bitmap
        hmm no email yet
      • samj1912
it doesnt send email I think
      • ruaok: had to send me a link
      • bitmap
ah it's in my spam folder
      • samj1912
        lol :P
      • bitmap
        ruaok: thanks
      • ruaok
might be another one coming now
      • samj1912
bitmap: is there anyway to deploy the triggers somehow?
      • bitmap
can't they be deployed the same way they were previously?
      • samj1912
they can be, I was just wondering if there was a way to automate it somehow
      • outsidecontext has quit
      • bitmap: deployed the new triggers
      • bitmap
I guess you could put a script in the sir repo that uses the credentials in config.ini and installs them for you
      • samj1912
reosarevok: they are slowly being updated - https://test.musicbrainz.org/ws/2/url/?query=ta...

        o/
      • Freso
Looks like I was a bit too eager to press that enter button. 🤦‍♂️
      • Anyway.
      • People up: Freso, reosarevok, bitmap, zas, ruaok, yvanzo, samj1912, iliekcomputers – people maybe up (please confirm): LordSputnik, Leftmost, Leo_Verto, alastairp, CatCat, chhavi_, ferbncode. If anyone else wants to give a review, let me know.
      • samj1912: Let's start off with you. :)
      • chhavi_ is here
      • samj1912
        hey o/
      • so this week, I worked on picard/libdiscid packaging
      • which basically involved me getting frustrated with windows/osx
      • also, phw helped with libdiscid windows builds since picard now requires 64 bit libdiscid
      • apart from that, did a minor sir upgrade to add release rels to urls
      • and picard reviews
      • that's it for me
      • Freso
So Windows-Picard no longer supports 32-bit?
      • samj1912
        nope
      • I made a jira ticket for it
      • Freso
        Cool.
      • samj1912
        anyway, zas go
      • zas
does windows 32 bits still exist ?
      • vishalchoudhary[
        I m up for meeting
      • ruaok remembers the days when we lusted to finally go to 32bit architectures.
      • zas
mainly picard stuff, a lot of code rework, mainly to make things just work
      • in-app search dialog revamp
      • ratecontrol fixes and rework
      • and PR reviewing
      • plus usual supervision, upgrades, and helping people around on various tasks
      • samj1912
        !m zas
      • BrainzBot
        You're doing good work, zas!
      • KassOtsimine
        hi!
      • zas
the plan is to release picard 2 asap
      • to clear the path before the GSoC
      • samj1912

      • KassOtsimine is now known as CatQuest
      • Freso
        Cool.
      • reosarevok
zas: it does still exist, I remember people having issues with that not too long ago when some programs were made 64-only
      • zas
reosarevok: yep, i'm disappointed windows still exists...
      • fin.
      • reosarevok ?
      • samj1912
sadly appveyor cannot produce working 32 bit exes, we can put out a community message for people to build them
      • reosarevok
        Hi!
      • Freso
(People still up: Freso, bitmap, ruaok, yvanzo, iliekcomputers, chhavi_, vishalchoudhary[ – people maybe up (please confirm): LordSputnik, Leftmost, Leo_Verto, alastairp, CatQuest, ferbncode. If anyone else wants to give a review, let me know.)
      • samj1912
same goes for OSX too I think (I think it has more to do with pyinstaller than appveyor)
      • reosarevok
So, other than usual support stuff (which keeps arriving in my spam inbox, together with all the Russian ladies who allegedly find me very hot)
      • iliekcomputers is now known as iliekcomputer

        :)
      • reosarevok
It's a label this time, and since they have booklets available on their website, I'm hoping for a lot of new high-quality releases :)
      • loujine also did some great work with a nice dashboard that shows what needs to be done
      • And I really need to (convince someone to) write a blog post
      • Other than that, just the usual editing
      • Oh!
      • And the cleanup discussions meant that I finally split that absurd meaningless "design/illustration" relationship
      • CatQuest
        \o/
      • reosarevok

Ok, I think I'm finally done, sorry for taking forever. CatQuest?
      • CatQuest
        yay!
      • GCI Finalists Hype!
      • Finally started working on instruments as added by our lovely gci students!

      • Freso
I'm still trying to catch up on backlog, being sick on-and-off (I love Scandinavian weather!), as well as still trying to get the last few things in order with the official side of Sweden.
      • samj1912
        ah, nvm :P (googled)
      • Freso
I did a little bit of GCI'ing too, incl. answering an e-mail from a student that unfortunately didn't make our top 5. I'll take a bit more about that in a moment though (GCI, not the e-mail).
      • I think that's about all. 🤔 So fin.
      • chhavi_: Go!

        hey :)
      • No specific updates this week. Just stepped back a bit and did a lot of thinking on the overall navigation and other details for MusicBrainz.
      • Will hopefully have something concrete by next week.

        hey
      • LordSputnik is here
      • I was working on fixing tests in https://github.com/metabrainz/musicbrainz-serve... but it's still a bit broken
      • helped test some picard osx builds from samj1912
      • worked on my entity sidebar -> react conversion branch from a couple months ago which I think is almost done
      • fixed up https://github.com/metabrainz/musicbrainz-serve... and helped spellew with other react work
      • looked into react-boostrap and experimented with creating a thin bootstrap v4 layer for react
      • that's all from me. yvanzo?

(Oh, also, in my off-time, I also convinced #whipper to make a 0.6.0 release, so naiveai[m]'s GCI contribution to them is now released. :) )

Past week I continued the developement of MB spam reporting/hiding tools. It is fortunately coming to an end soon. I will give more details after the reviews.
