bukwurm: I think you can safely ignore that as long as you see this line from NPM after all the modules got installed: `added 1651 packages from 1090 contributors in 58.169s`

The logs you see do look like errors, but are due to a weird fallback strategy of an NPM module

node-gyp.

I had otherwise deleted all related images before running the command

Hmm. Did you run `docker-compose down` ?

Yeah, closed all containers, deleted them and then delete all images

The docker images shouldn't matter. If the containers are down, you might still need to remove the volumes attached to them
