MBS-10476: The "New notes have been left on some of your edits" message only shows if the recipient is using the same server (production, beta) as the note author

reosarevok: Can you please transform the first ticket to match what is actually fixed by linked PR #1263?
reosarevok
Ok
yvanzo: changed the title, is that enough or should I change the desc too?
yvanzo
thanks, I changed it, looks good now :)
reosarevok
I'm not sure it's "Since v-2019-11-11" - it seems like it might have been since the beginning of React porting, given the source of that issue
yvanzo
Since ... "at least" then? The previous desc compared beta to prod. Please feel free to make it more descriptive!
ruaok: I suddenly realise then hsdf client delete is not deleting parquet files but just directories... Weird.... Was stuck up on this for quiet some time :(
Just realised that* :p

<amCap1712> "I couldn't get what you meant by the lastfm proxy thing." That has nothing to do with your plugin. Just that listenbrainz used to have a lastfm proxy endpoint that accepted listens from a lastfm plugin. I seem to recall that it needed to be manually restarted / reset by ruaok every time listenbrainz was updated. It hasn't been working for a couple of months now, so I assumed that it has be depreciated.
<amCap1712> "rdswift: Can you share the terminal output when you play more than one song?" I could but it's empty. The terminal doesn't output anything when completing a song or starting a new song.

<amCap1712> "rdswift: Listening Now is not supported as of now because there is no event callback to handle that." Okay, but that's odd because it worked with the lastfm plugin that I was using before. Whenever a new song started, it immediately showed up as "Listening now" in the "Follow" tab, and after 30 seconds it appeared in the "Recent" tab. Seems like something was triggering when a track started to play.

amCap1712, I'm sorry because I know this doesn't give you much to work with. The only other thing I noticed (but haven't fully checked) is that your plugin appeard to have submitted the last track played when DeaDBeeF was shut down, but none of the unsubmitted tracks before that.

we really need to work on alerts for this kind of stuff
...
rdswift: i'm pretty sure it isn't intentionally deprecated, just broken for some reason.
