Integrating the player in other webpages we talked about IRL. We could try out the easy solution on beta.MB and see how that works before taking other steps.

One thing I didn't add on the doc is thinking about integrating other streaming services. I've looked at Google, but they're in the process of moving everything to Youtube Music, and currently have no indication of when they'll have an API. Apple's music service is definitely not going to allow us to stream easily, as far as I can tell.

last week was my first week back, so there was MeB silliness backlog stuff.

I worked a little bit on troi, did some code reviewing and implemented the troi "pick random tracks from a country" script, which is a load of fun.

I hope to get that up on bono tomorrow so that people can play with it.

and there was some LB planning with iliekcomputers as well.

feels nice to plan things since we knocked out so many things summer. 💪

last week I mostly worked on finishing converting the timeline to react/d3; have a [WIP] PR up for that now with just a few tasks left

also fixed some issues causing the site to break in IE11, and some mistakes in our Babel setup causing polyfills to output twice. should reduce JS size a bit more

also did a bunch of code review. I think that's about it

last week we released yet another point version of Picard

I had to mitigate a brute force attack on SSH, from a wide botnet, now under control (read: blacklisted thousands of IPs)

plus usual MB editing, user support, upgrades & supervision, etc...

Last week I spent a good amount of time fixing BB tests that were erratically failing due to bad decisions when I first implemented test fixtures.

I talked about an dplanned stuff for ListenBrainz

Started designing tshirts for GSoC and for the summit

Also reviewed some PRS and fixed an issue with merging in BookBrainz

Replaced some deprecated libraries and some other minor bug fixes.

I also replied to user feedback on the app on play store and worked on drafting a document for profiling and improving performance of listenbrainz submission pipeline
