Last week I worked mainly on ListenBrainz: Continuing work on the new playlist feature, looked at closing a lot of PRs with alastairp and ruaok, and worked on improving and fixing the LB build setup, and finally some minor improvements of BrainzPlayer.

last week I worked more on setting up event art archive support in various projects

(People still up: ruaok, alastairp, shivam-kapila, _lucifer, jmp_music – anyone else who want to give review, let me know ASAP!)

I renamed the coverart_redirect repo to artwork-redirect (to match artwork-indexer) and opened https://github.com/metabrainz/artwork-redirect/... to add event support and upgrade a bunch of stuff

also worked a lot on the MBS side of things - factorizing a bunch of CAA code into roles that can be reused for the EAA without mass duplication. still a good chunk of work left there

other than that I did some code review for MBS and fixed a couple minor issues on beta.

last week was mostly PR work for me. troi and load of LB playlists.

we made a lot of good progress on that front. today I picked up the MBID mapping as part of trying to come up with some "year in review" playlists.

all fun an interesting stuff, nice to be hacking on this.

a little business here and there.

and I gave an interview to Austrian public radio for a show covering wikipedias 20th birthday.

will be broadcast near end of jan.

I was mostly opening cans of worms last week

but I managed to close many of them too

I found the last few things that were preventing ListenBrainz integration tests running on jenkins, and also made some of the tests a bit more robust

I fixed a configuration issue with the github bot that jenkins uses, preventing it from making comments on github

We did a big review of open PRs in LB, and it's looking a lot better now, we might even be close for a release soon!

with Playlists, we managed to merge the branch into master which is a good feeling, still a few bug fixes that need to be made before we do a real release, but that ties in with ruaok's work
