if you can make the multiple user lookup function, I'm happy to call it from the API layer.

e.g. you pass in usernames everywhere, and I raise an exception

or the api layer looks it up, and passes in both a username and id, and the db layer does no lookup

well, right now many functions are setup so that user lookup needs to be done in the API layer.

OK, I have the multi-user lookup. I'll update the api to use that everywhere

to really make it more consistent would be to more of these functions to the DB layer, but that is more work that doesn't really make sense now.

so, lets pass user ids for all functions.

I investigated an issue we had with health status of floyd's postgresql

conclusion: our current health check script has issues, but that's not the cause

we (with bitmap) suspect consul stuff

so we started thinking about plan to upgrade, this has to happen early 2021

I also worked on a replacement for unmaintained git2consul

checked logs for suspicious traffic too, blocked a bunch of IPs, restarted mbws containers which were in a weird state, causing degraded performance (unexplained cause atm)

A new version of MusicBrainz Server has been released on Wednesday.

MB Docker will be updated after the upcoming search update.

Besides, all notification mails about the MB data breach have been sent.

Tons of different rels to set as ended once that is done, and only that one will take several days as it is

I'll probably be working less than usual the rest of the month

Stuff is a bit slow because I have a ton of open PRs so a) I don't want to flood it even more and b) it's hard sometimes to remember what I'm already converting to React :D
