Discogs typically has a lot more promo, test-pressing, limited edition, bootlegs releases than musicbrainz - are some of these releases NOT wanted in mb

ijabz2, I'm less certain when it comes to bootlegs, but none of the others seem problematic to me.

Leftmost thx, and if there are two versions of a release that only differe in that one is pink Vinyl and one is Purple would we add just oen release in mb or two ?

ijabz2: This is really a #musicbrainz question, but: different people, different answers. I lean towards different releases for those cases.

Only a few, it was a bit too cold - but we did map places with 0 toads to know we can avoid them in the future :)

i've seen my dad occasionally vnc into a server at work over a satellite link. it looks rather painful to use :)

I’ve seen my dad send a telex via somthing that looked like a paper teletype. not very glamourous. :)

he then uses graphical emacs in the vnc session :)

heh. my dad doesn't do that much that's particularly cool but I have seen him use ssh with X forwarding when instructed by his sysadmin how to do it. though I guess the fact he needs to copy giant images of Mars around is why we got cable broadband internet fairly early in my childhood so *that* much is cool :P

I’ve been making some progress on the gateway stuff.

from my not-currently-running-X computer

nagios alerts and such

but, we’re out of private places to stash repos.

I’ve got network, firewall, traffic shaping, dns done and in chef.

I’ve stashed it in a private repo for now, but we’ll need to think of a place to stash it.

can you think of any of our private repos that we can say, move to syswiki, like we did we server setup?
