I'm going to make another tweak to the gateway config and then use rika as the first service to get moved to the new gateway

I've been having some mixed luck getting services moved over.

ratelimit and dns are moved and now on the new gateway.

a couple of attempts to move rika have failed, sadly. :(

primarily because I can't even ping rika on the 10.1.3 net.

ok, I see what needs changing.

on dib

"show arp", and you can see which port ernie is in

turns out, port 22.

"show config", and you can see that port 22 has no description (meh, whatever),

that is the internal interface.

but also, vlan 3 ("dev_vlan") is only allowed for ports 9,19,20

which is rika, carl, lenny respectively.

that would do it.

so the answer is: allow port 22 onto vlan 3.
