backend is a subset of proxy

So by analyzing the proxy we get an accurate picture of the traffic on the site, no?

yes, should be. Just like the old log file, before the proxy appeared.

Of course, since the proxy was turned on just about 34 hours ago, it will have processed at least some of the wrong data.

where are the log files for the proxy?

/usr/local/perl58/apache2/logs

dunno. MB tagger does both.

A machine at work, which normally runs happily unattended for months on end, suddenly went ape yesterday. logwatch used up loads of CPU, all the disk, and took the machine down :-(

The copy on zim is currently overwritten by a cron job from my copy here. But we could always nominate the zim copy as the master.

There's a copy in ~dave/cvsstat

Just "cd" to the mb_server directory on the staging server,

then run "cvsstat" from there, and save the output.

All it does is "cvs status", collapsing the results to one line per file.
