mo_Z: according to wikipedia, it's supposed to be a combination of anima and enema, and ae is apparently pronounced one of the ways we pronounce e in danish, in old english and the IPA, it's one of the ways we pronounce a now

freedb is only a mess because it assumes either iso-8859-1 or utf-8

it's perfectly valid iso-8859-11 or tis-620 or whatever it is.
