shi would be the more common romanization and that's what their homepage has

the CD never has their name written in romajji or whatever, except that it is signed "Gushiken family (with a date)"... i have the sort name as Gushiken Family, however, babelfish translates the kanji to Gusiken, and i remember from my limited experence with japanese that sometimes shi is just written si and the SHHH sound is implied...

shi and si are the same, just two different romanization systems

but it seems so odd that the album would be signed by the artist (one of them) because i found it at Goodwill

yes, i know, but if someone who is totally uneducated in japanese would use google to translate a copy and paste, they wouldnt find the artist on MB

if someone uses the wrong spelling, they will be directed to the correct spelling
