everyone has him listed as V. Chuykin

then use that one, maybe in future you get more info and then you can correct the artist name ;)

People abstain on 'add crappy entry' mods , but somehow vote no on a mod that is very easy to fix.

There's only so many "fix crappy entries" mods I'll do per day personally

It especially becomes quite frustrating when you see the same person importing crap continuously, without heeding to the style guide pointers I give in modnotes :/

I think the reason many people will automatically vote no on such mods is due to the frustration of seeing people just not making the effort. I have to restrain myself from giving an automatic no to anything that doesn't have the release type defined personally.

I think some mods need to take time off MB when they start to feel themselves getting too jaded. We don't want Musicbrainz turning into discogs.

I get fed up with it. I just want them to correct their errors but an amazing amount of people just don't seem to care. Once they've got their mp3s tagged they no longer have a use or any interest in MB until their next load of mp3s need tagged.

well i would agree that there are alot of "junk" entries

and one the other end 10 times as much bad entries get added

so I'd rather first have better entries

Yes, I use it right now but it's major PITA to fetch artists from those results.

somebody tell me I don't have to do this: i have a track where one guy sings vocals and there are three more guys that repeat the couplet in the background. please tell me I don't have to add three more artists

"can not remove existing file access denied"

maybe because the when i look at the properties of the mp3/folder its read-only?
