nothing wrong with your comments, and compilation bootlegs are always more likely to be homebrew that real releases

2006-04-11 10104, 2006
Shepard thinks it's the job of the modder to provide the info. otherwise *all* others have to search for it which is quite ineffective
2006-04-11 10136, 2006

nechto13: If I hadn't seen other complex problems with the moderations, no proofs whatsoever.. I would've been more willing to work with them,.

that is what happens on bulk of album adds though

and either we can continue to let a bunch of albums coming in in a half manner from freedb, or we can tighten things up and demand a bit higher and get proofs.

Nyght: track parser is one of the tool on add album page. i'm searching for it's wiki page as we speek
nechto13: I'll have to look that up. I'm sure I can find some interesting information. I know some states are okay with it, but wont marry it in. But, with the current politics. That could change.
argo: i have rosenberg listed a a veteran session musician / jazz guitarist. He's considered a "first call" musician which means he excels at all genres. first call is the top of the food chain.
2006-04-11 10104, 2006
ArgoNavis
Something's wrong. Jimmy Rosenberg is a bit of a gypsy recluse, and he's about 26 by now. I'm not sure I would call him a "session musician", although my definition may be out-of-whack.

The main issue is "is it a cover" because the band that covers it, their vocalist is the person whom's solo album is originally appears on

so, the man, with another band, redid the song?

On Jose's solo album, some of the musicians are from Mago de Oz, but not all. Mago de Oz's version has a whole extended piano intro, and has added extra instruments, as well as an another vocalist

Not to mention that the pianist is a totally different person, because on Jose's he performs the part of pianist too

yllona: No, actually, that could be correct. JR is from the Netherlands, from a gypsy community. He was a prodigy, and actually did start recording at age 13. If he was 20 when the Django tribute album was recorded, he'd be 26 now, and would've been 13 in 1993. So that all fits.

inhouseuk i know the amazon asin loads based on user preference.. i typically like to add the amz country asin that was released which i guessing really isn't necessary.. can you think of a reason why you would rather do it that way then not... reason being i've seen several people add DE & FR asins for UK & US releases etc... however they are available in all the countries
