Thanks, I think I will try! Because the names don't go deep enough for half of the songs. So, I'm catching "half" of them and there's still a huge number that I know are slipping through.

assistance please. I want to enter a double CD. Unfortunately, I loaned it out a couple of years ago and so do not have a cover to check. I have looked at Amazon and Freedb and although all tracks are listed, they all have an annotation alongside saying which band the singer was with when the track was recorded. Do I include these?

the information about other bands might be relevant as the CD is called "Anthology"

inhouseuk: so it might be a little of both then you think? I know there is the network.http max connections etc.etc.. setting but obviously 2 requests is a far cry from hitting even the default limit

I think it's more of a problem that firefox can't issue another request before it has got a response from one that is already pending.

joan_w thats hard to say.. I know for exmaple when working on Richard Cheese which does cover songs of other artists it was debated whether the other artist name should be included

The problem here is that they are not covers. He actually sang them when he was with Uriah Heep and other bands. On his solo album, he is rehashing them and crediting the bands he was with at the time

I personally don't think it is relevant. It is a solo album, which should probably be listed under compilations, and it doesn't really matter who he was with when he recorded them before

i didnt include them in that case just because i felt that it really isn't part of the title and not really an attribute

I agree and as there are 35 tracks, it is definitely too large for an annotation, although I might say that he "recorded the following songs whilst with" and then list the four bands in question.

i guess if you feel ambitious you could notate all that in the annotation so it's available if ever a way to use it or for people viewing it via the web search

but if you must i'd just put Tracks 1,4,7,10,14 originally recorded w/Foo Bar, Tracks 2,3,5,8 originally recorded w/Bar Foo .. or something along those lines
