luks, I stared over installing the system because I made a complete mess of it :-D do you know if DBD::Pg 1.32 is this required or can the latest version be used now?

Prodoc

luks, after perl Makefile.PL for String-Similarity-0.02 I get a notification "Please check that the type names in this '#define' occupies exactly four bytes on your system: #define INT32 long"
I know, I know but I need to get it installed anyway :-P
luks
but no with the old patch
Prodoc
ah
but the version on cpan is still the same, no newer version
no patch is needed anymore or do I need to use a different one?
luks
no, just run 'install String::Similarity' from cpan
Prodoc
ok
evil_monkey
luks: you read my comment or just hit yes because my comment is too long :-)
luks
well, at first I really just wanted to vote because it's too long :)
but MP3 "releases" with extra tracks are quite common
if it does actually exist, someone will add it again
evil_monkey
it looks like some bogus collection of random tracks
luks
yep
evil_monkey
so i don't think that it even deserves bootleg status
luks
me neither
I wouldn't call random torrent a bootleg
evil_monkey
yes, it pretty much spread through torrents and slsk
Prodoc
luks, do you know how to specify additional locations for header files to use in cpan? it can't find the header files for apache but 'export CFLAGS...' before starting cpan doesn't work
luks
are you sure the dev package for apache is installed?
evil_monkey has quit
duckman has quit
it's apache-dev probably
Prodoc
strange, forgot that one just now but I had the same problem yesterday eventhough I did have them installed. I saw the same error just now so I assumed I would run into trouble again. Now after the install of the dev package it does work, sorry about that
during the install of Bundle::Apache I get the notification 'Ah, I see you already have installed libnet before. Do you want to modify/update you configuration?'
should I do this?
luks
I don't know
probably yes
hm, I don't remember I've ever installed Bundle::Apache
Prodoc
hehe, another one which can be removed from the list than? ;-)
luks
dunno
I usually install things by installing the minimal set and then fixing errors
some maybe something in my mb_server doesn't work correctly, but I didn't need that part so far :)
Prodoc
:-)
wow, down to OSSP::UUID, without real problems this time, so far so good
for this one I should use your steps, shouldn't I?
Prodoc ducks for cover
luks
which one?
Prodoc
OSSP::UUID
it's still not in cpan
like mentioned in the INSTALL
luks
apt-get install libossp-uuid-perl
Prodoc
neat

FauxFaux stabs people, can't buy music from the artists, can't buy it on media, can't buy it for download, can't pay for it from allofmp3, and can't even pirate it. :'(
Kerensky97
lost music
what is it?
FauxFaux
Obscure remixes of stuff, have it at 128kbps. :(
"Thunder in Paradise (DJ Scot Project mix)" by "Beam vs. Cyrus" (from "Lifestyle") [length: 9:15] [bitrate: 128kbps]
