The process is now drawn out to... XLD -> Flac (~/FLAC) -> Picard -> ~/cd2mp3.sh -> rsync FLACs to backup server and rm. Then Picard tag the MP3s, and move them to ~/MP3 and chmod -R 0400 *.mp3
