someone know what is the id3tag attribute TCON?

If you google "tcon id3" you'll find the ID3 spec that lists information about that frame.

navap, thank you. BTW, im having a strange behavior. To remove some attributes I have to run eyeD3 --remove-all two times.

That is strange, I've never used eyeD3 though so I can't provide much help with that.

i have tried to remove some attributes set by musicbrains

these especific attributes cannot be removed. I have tried with many tools

songbird, rhythmbox. mp3tag, id3tag, eyeD3 to name a few

I've used Mp3tag, it works extremely well.

navap, but that attributes are ntoe removed. They are Genres by tag, set by musicbrainz FM plugin.

Have you gone through Mp3tag's options and made sure it's set to remove everything when you click 'remove'?

around byte 0x800, (it changes because the id3tag size is variable)

TCON...-...Brazil, On The Road, Brazil Pop, Eu Vou Estar - Capital Inicial, Capital Incial, and goes on.. til it find the attribute TSOP

in rhythmbox and songbird it reads these data as a genre.

I want to clean JUST this attribute. But no program can reach it.

The only program able to clean it need to run --remove-all two times.

but I dont want to lose my id3 data.

don't seems the TCON attribute, i have read in docs it is the content type.

TCON is one byte (now numeric)

cannot fit all that string

btw strings are a array of integers

picard can if you have the Cover Art Downloader plugin installed and enabled

and the album is linked to amazon (and has usable cover art)

actually the cover art downloader plugin probably supports the Has Cover Art At relationship as well but thats rarely used. just to be pedantic :)

Lin, yeah i do that occasionally, too. hurts when I notice it correct a typo thats gone unnoticed for many months/years.

i have a suspicion they're sometimes used interchangeably, but that cant be when both "Chorus" and "Back ground vocal" are i the same track

I didn't find any in the cds I've got here (they nearly all only have chorus, a couple only have background vocal), but I don't have that many here and they're nearly all from the same/related labels

hello :) does anyone have any fairly complicated edit release event edits, that were added in the last month or so?

something that adds/removes/edits multiple events in a single edit?

adds and edits are separate edits

I guess removes are submitted separately too...

they're the same edit type, but they're submitted as separate edits

I made one recently that removes two release events in one edit, if that helps

I'll have a look, it could be too recent though

I think this is doing the right thing though. Hopefully sometime next week I can start doing some real edit migrations and getting feedback
