so i noticed, when using the lookup feature, that music brainz will take an album with say.. 2 tracks that feature two seperate other artists and create 3 folder directories, for what is actually one album. is there any way at all to fix this?

As an example, 0.78% of add relationship edits have been either cancelled or voted down, whereas over 20,000 of the current open edits are add relationship, severely adding to the voting burden.

Ooh, more auto-edits? I can get behind that. Though labels are often enough screwed up that I'm not 100% sure that's a good idea.

CallerNo6: yes and no. I think the current interface for adding labels is good, but storing them as rels makes sense.

Also I think we should have better guidelines and/or label filtering before label adds are auto-edit, but eh no big deal.

hawke: the auto-edit thing is basically because since it's both auto-edit to add and remove, people who care (and subscribe to labels) can still just remove the ones that they feel are wrong

hawke: what I was thinking is this: if labels are rels, then we can be more descriptive, instead of simply saying "these are the release labels".

i would suggest that if add releases are autoedits, that we bring back the possible duplicates warning (like if the UPC matches that of an existing release)
