Is there any magical number of relationships for a work before those start being hidden on release pages? Some works just completely bloat the release pages. https://0x0.st/spAv.png
Normally just a back cover. You might find a PDF through Chandos or the Naxos Music Library
Freso
Even a back cover would be good… :)
What's Chandos? How do I access Naxos Music Library?
Looks like neither Chandos nor NML are helpful with this. :/
reosarevok
Oh. Yeah, if not even Naxos have a back cover (happens rarely) then you might be SOL

https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Style/Classical/Lan... says "Always use double quotes in English titles." I've interpreted that as "use double quotes instead of single quotes", but I finally came across angle quotes («quoted») with English text. Should those be changed to double quotes or left as angle quotes?

dseomn: i'd go with "as on cover" for that
(I mean, if the cover has sigle quotes i'd use that also)
good morning :) I have a digital release which includes a video (mp4), does the guideline say anything about this? Should this be included somehow?
reosarevok
noobie: I'd add it at the end of it and mark it as video
You need to add it normally, then go to the recording and edit it to set it as video :)
noobie
cool, thanks :)
one last question: should I include the (Official Video) in the title?

I wouldn't
noobie
thanks. Now the master question: should an remixed album (every track a remix of the original album) go to the same release group ? :D
s/an/a
SothoTalKer
yes
noobie
Thanks, the tracklist has (remix) in the title name for each track, feels clunky to keep this because the album subtitle is ":The Remixes" already, should I ommit them?
Alright, now the instrumental version, is there a secondary type for that (obviously there's none called "instrumental") ?
reosarevok
Nope, not currently at least

noobie: You can add a tag, "instrumental", to the release group (and/or release and/or individual recordings), but no proper type as of now.
noobie
Since the release has an ": The Instrumentals" subtitle and each recording "(instrumental)" in the title I'll take the lazy approach and leave it as is :)

Hmmm.
When does it make sense to add another medium to an existing release versus adding another release?
I've never understood the difference, since it seems widely established that different mediums (digital, CD, vinyl, etc.) are added as new releases
But I wonder what the purpose of adding a new medium is…?
