OK. I'm reading through the instructions on how to log in; it doesn't look like my client supports SASL.

I am using hexchat and its ok with SASL.

I'm using Adium (I'm on a Mac)

I used to use Colloquy, and it's not on the list either.

Regular old /msg nickserv identify still works, and as long as you're connecting to Freenode over SSL, should be fine.

Yeah. Most clients will allow you to automate that. (There should be an option under server setting to send messages when you log in to a given server.)

Having lunch but

lets try to do this though

ok so, the drums/drumset issue

the problem right now is that very many credits are under "membranophone"

they wher epreviously called drum*s* (wich was wrong)

anyway but

the thing that needs figuring out is: what od we do

there are a few things we can do:

we can merge membranophone into drumset (this will be .. logicla becasue this is likly most of the credits. however the sideeffect is..)

the few legit "drums" and "drum" credits get smoshed about wrongly

we could leave it as is but that will require A LOT of work and possibly bots

I'd personally go with just reverting the membranophone rename, and then maybe change the "drums" to "drums (generic)" or some such.

any other options now?
