CatQuest: hi! I've been studying a lot, so I haven't really been able to do much else, but I saw some of the veena edits recently and they look really great :)
hopefully I will be able to contribute more soon!

Hi
Thansk for the picard 2.1.2 release.
Could also publish the source tarballs?
The mirrors only seem to have Windows and Mac OS X builds?
Note that once I get everything working, I'm planning to add a redirect from www.kepstin.ca/magicisrc to magicisrc.kepstin.ca - i expect this to be fine, since I can preserve the parameters through the redirect.

do you have a new script kepstin?

jesus2099: I'm still preferring the idea of having a big "parser" text box at the top where stuff like cue sheets could be dropped in, but that doesn't conflict with your multiple-paste idea, so i can probably do both
(against test.mb.o, so note that passwords are reset)
I'm hoping to get the edit preview and submission stuff working over the next few days
once the musicbrainz server release with the CORS fixes needed for oauth2 from javascript is live, i'll switch out my old magicisrc page for this new one.
Lotheric
lately I've been using the spotify=>MB isrc submitter someone posted in the forum. it would be nice to combine the two tools :)
kepstin
my "magicisrc" page is based on nikki's old page, and one of the key things is that it supports seeding - so if you have some tool that can read isrcs from somewhere, it can open up magicisrc with the mbid and isrcs seeded to run the validation stuff and let you submit.

kepstin: [15:29] « preferring the idea of having a big "parser" text box at the top » Yes that’s also very good ! I just did the way I did to type le less code as possible.
Oh or no… I did the way I did to manage cases where some tracks have no ISRC more easeily
kepstin
that's why i was thinking i could do both :)

the big text box can have some fuzzy logic to detect gaps, or handle pasting numbered tracks, like the musicbrainz release editor parser (and i'm also gonna have a special case for cue sheets), but for unstructured data sources your paste idea makes sense

how to credit "recorded by" ? I see it was changed recently to "record engineer" is it the same thing ?
there's also sound engineer and audio engineer now..
CallerNo6
the description "This describes an engineer responsible for committing the performance to tape" certainly sounds synonymous with "recorded by"
Lotheric
thanks
CallerNo6
sorry, that wasn't "didn't you read the description dumm?!?!" ... it was more like "I think you must be right. I don't see a better option."
er, "dummy"... see, I'm too inept to insult people.
