label credits are useful for the case where the imprint changes, but they maintain the same artist roster, historical discography, etc.

but not for the case of multiple imprints run by the same company

When adding relationship to a release that are credited only once per release, is it preferrable to add it to the release credits or to all the recordings on it? Thinking about things like "recorded at"/"mixed by" ones here

elomatreb[m]: all recordings, unless you have a reason to think it doesn't apply to all

Some things (executive producer, for example) make more sense at the release level IMO, but most don't

I actually remember one of my earliest discussions with reosarevok was about "why would you want ta" and I a first missunderstood him

i thought he meant "that's dumb why would you want that" but he actually meant "I don't know why you'd want that, can you explain it please?"

and I remember I thought it was refreshing to meet someone who didn't automatically shoot donw my ideas but was willing to be convinced against what they thought first themselves

anyway I'm against merging imprint with the company.

we never know when the company wil create another imprint
