hi. I got the CDs listed on <URL: https://www.discogs.com/Peer-ClubQuart-00/relea... > but they seem to be missing in musicbrainz. I am very unsure how to add them, given that this is a dj mix release. is there a recipe somewhere?

pere: DJ mixes aren't particularly different from other releases

You just need to make sure to not select existing non-DJ-mixed recordings when adding them :)

I'd generally use the DJ (for the release, not the tracks)

At least if it's on the cover like here

I slightly prefer putting the DJ over Various Artists just because I feel it's more useful and not wrong

But as long as there's a DJ-mixer relationship like there, it's at least linked in some way :)

Well, the standard release artist is "whoever is credited in the front"

"The artist(s) that the release is primarily credited to, as credited on the release."

That's open to interpretation, although to me that is clearly the DJ in this case
