so I exported my lastfm listening history, and now I have a csv file with MBIDs. what would be the best way to start adding more info to this file? like if I want artist country of origin/gender/etc.

I use beets for managing my music collection and it has the lastimport plugin what does exactly what you are doing

im trying to get like "most listened to artist" "most listened to genre" "msot listened to gender" stuff like that

beets does that?

well, that lastimport plugin gets your history from last.fm and beets puts that in it's database; from there you can create all kinds of playlists

I have a question about classical releases : what if a classical ensemble makes an album by covering some classical composers (Bach, Bernstein) but also pop artists (The Beatles in this case). Should the Beatles (or Lennon/McCartney) be on the artist field or should it just be the classical composers ?
