        yes and? it really is great that you're looking at a lot of edits - and approving, voting, checking, but approving a lot doesn't give you the "right" to vote no more. it shoudl be based on each individual edit itself.

        it doesn't help that once someone votes no on your edits you get a mail like "someone has voted no on your edit #####!!" or the linke. even *I* 15 years and running autoeditor and oldbie, instrument inserter and all that. if i get one of those my initial reaction is "oh no!"

        I've been experimenting more the past couple days, trying to get responses or convince editors to cancel instead of voting No up front. It doesn't work good enough. I have to constantly check those edits and if they are not canceled change my vote.

I've seen these kind of changes go in the opposite direction as well: https://musicbrainz.org/edit/70080516 I know both are allowed but it seems problematic if editors change them to fit their preference or for marketing reasons.
