Is there a way to ensure the album will be actually from a given country (or in a given language) and not just released there alongside 196 other countries?

hmm
evelyn is not sure about two edits... https://musicbrainz.org/edit/73282556 https://musicbrainz.org/edit/73286213
They have voted no for the reason they commented, however these aren't actually as an imprint etc, they're used as a release label in both cases as best I can tell
The 'type' wasn't set for either of these nor are there any relationships set

Hello all. https://musicbrainz.org/release/b9227655-7067-4... has track 4 listed as movement V on the CD packaging, but there's no way it's not movement IV of that work. Should it be corrected on musicbrainz, or be left as it is on the CD packaging?
yvanzo
Hi aereaux: why "there's no way"? if it happens to be wrongly listed indeed, the recording should be corrected, probably not the tracklist.
aereaux
Unless I'm mistaken, that work has only 4 movements, and the tracklist lists the first three and then the last (it gets the movement title right) but marked as V.
yvanzo
Oh, I see, it’s probably just a one-character typo: "V" instead of "IV", the rest of the track title seems to be correct.
Does anyone know if merging a recording into another also copy any user ratings to that new recording?

ok, so reosarevok gave me the idea (in #metabrainz) to release a 600+ hour track. I really like the idea and I'm starting to think about how I want to do it. one idea I just had is to make a release with 1 track, but call the release an EP. (get it, *extended* play?) how much of a perversion of artist intent is that to call a 1 track release an EP?
reosarevok
Not more than that of calling whatever you end up concocting music

reosarevok: he wouldn't be the first. honestly, 600hrs sounds pretty short to me.
