sorry if this is a stupid question - i'm wondering if there's a nicer way of creating lots of singles for an artist other than repeatedly adding releases, individual tracks and the artwork separately?

also how does one decide which artist to add a song to when it involves multiple artists?

it doesn't feel like one continued sentence. "One has my name the other has my heart". Lyrics could've easily said "One has my name. The other has my heart"

Should online mastering services be credited as a place or artist ?

That one is on MB as an artist but I feel it's wrong

but doesn't that imply that it has been mastered at that place, not necessarily by that company?

how do I make picard exclude a certain tag by default? for example, MusicBrainz Track Id

waffl3x, you could use the $delete() function, like $delete(musicbrainz_trackid). See https://picard-docs.musicbrainz.org/en/function... for more info. Note that this must be in a tagging script and not the file naming script.

The day (and a Flatpak dependency or two) later, the Picard plugin is no longer proving a default filename for playlists.
