that streaming music one should probably have the text updated to explicitly forbid using the 'video' attribute on artist-url links then

In the Recordings tab of the editor

Just change one set to "Add new recording"

If the recordings are already in more releases, or have ISRCs already, of course make sure you keep them for the right thing

yes, I did. Because it only warned me about updating tags automatically, it said nothing in the quick start about not copying it.

Picard severly corrupted my AAC tags. notably total number of discs, and album titles. oddly, not artist/song title.

Somebody mentioned it uses mutagen, if it doesn't, then mutagen is irrelevant.

but whatever picard uses for AAC tagging has some nasty nasty bugs, and I'm very irked as a result.

Which is why I Asked for a 0.16.1, beta or not. Just something to fix the mess it created.
