the webservice is supposed to return the relationship name, because that never changes (whereas the link phrases can change at any time)

right. so it looks like the minimum number of recordings of コッペリアの柩 we need to have are: original version (and karaoke), noir version, hyper remix version (and karaoke), and at least (maybe two) live versions.

not counting covers.

and the original and noir versions are within a couple seconds of eachother in length, so you can't tell them apart by that :/

the other language editions often include one sentence articles about random crap semi-relevant for given language commutity

yeah, I noticed that it's nearly always the english wikipedia with the deleted pages

the japanese one has a habit of moving pages and deleting the redirects, which is annoying but at least I can just edit the url
