I was just wondering if you had any interest in adding check boxes for all the tags you're sourcing from MB, e.g. Total tracks, Band, Composer, etc.; personally I only use a few tags--artist, album, track, title, date. Obviously I can remove them myself after grabbing tags from MB, but it'd be nice to just ignore those tags I don't need from the outset.

actually I was thinking about it, so yes

Great, I'll look forward to it. Only just grabbed the extension, already makes things infinitely more convenient, so my thanks.
(I'm assuming you were referring to the bandcamp status update reosarevok was asking about earlier today)

Last I heard, ruaok was going to get in touch with them directly. Between that and a lack of answer from the respective individuals (e.g. Bandcamp), I have backed off.

hawke_: there was some opposition to removing the featuring artist style guideline, so that guideline is unchanged, but only applies to recordings.

uhh, what is the guideline with feat. in a title?

and the track should be as on cover, so if the cover has (feat. foo), that should be retained in the track title.

2011-05-27 14728, 2011
warp
hawke_: no, unless the backcover tracklisting does not have (feat. foo) where our database entry does have it.
