I think the same about release titles... It seems that sentiment is common, even for classical, but I think we need some search enhancement (2-field searching) before people will be comfortable removing it from classical titles (based on recent edit discussions from mine and cooperaa's attempts)

Take Pearl Jam or Nirvana - you could look for "Nirvana + Smells Like Teen Spirit" or "Pearl Jam + Elderly Woman..." and get 500 releases that match

the form search is pretty inaccurate

i put artist U2 and song sunday bloody sunday and i get some irrelevant artists ranking higher then U2 it self

unless you're doing an AND search with advanced search checked on, the form is doing only a single field search

XML is more intended to pull data you know, or to search using correct syntax. Not sure if/how it supports adv searching
