when i pressed Tagger in MusicBrainZ it shows loading album information but it doesnt get out of there....

"Loading album" once it appears in picard is a request from picard to the website, which Windows firewall doesn't even secure by default.

yea, the problem is something is stopping picard doing the loading

that wouldn't be a port forwarding issue, would it Faux?

I'm almost certain that that operation is a simple werbservice request, port 80, only thing that could concievably interfere is a proxy.

yea, when it happened to me it was at uni, and it was the proxy

on the other end donpeyote, have you got proxy information in picard, but don't need a proxy?

and in Ie a bunch of js errors

picard gets the # of the album but them it says loading in the status bar and nothing else :/

It has to be network issues, but it's fine for everyone else and you say yu don't need a proxy.

i just disabled the windows fw no luck

if i copy the url from ther Tagger to ie it shows the nothing to see here and in picard it shows loading album ...

then picard should go out and get album info right?

The localhost:8000 url isn't supposed to show anytheng. Yeah.

Our government is forcing us to pay 1/5th of our GDP in companies we're not dumb enough to support.

It's actually kind of complex and I agree something needs to be done. But giving $700 billion with no strings attached to the guy who failed to see the problem coming is a bad idea.
