the first cd is called memorias atras, and the second is called "the day the warld stopped" should it be added as two different releases or something like Memorias Atras (disc 1) and Memorias Atras (disc 2: the day the world stopped)

Hmm. It always makes me wonder a bit when a single PUID has suddenly been added to multiple tracks in the database.

Do people really add them in bursts, or is someone adding the same track into multiple releases. Or is it just some random fan who has discovered MusicBrainz and tags his whole Oasis collection, including several various artists compilations.

For example, this PUID http://musicbrainz.org/show/puid/?puid=6d0d2d10... has been added to six releases since yesterday.

It's possible, of course, no doubt about that, but there have been several of those lately, and it makes me think someone's adding PUIDs to all tracks in the database.

I thought Firefox was to blame for the slowness of my machine, since it hogs so much memory.

question, I added this VA release with "various artists" as the album artist, found out it shouldv'e been "organiseret riminalitet" as albumartist, cancelled the edits but the release still remains on MB, when will it dissappear so I can add it properly ? http://musicbrainz.org/release/ec561675-d45c-4a...

But now I see it's just me - I moved to Opera, and now it takes around 350MB of memory.

Tykling: Edits get cancelled every hour or so, I think.

Do EMI embed their catalogue numbers in the barcode?

This release doesn't seem to have one, but it does have certain digits of the barcode repeated in bold.

It only has the whole barcode listed, but the numbers '5 85901 2' are listed in bold everywhere it appears (apart from in the barcode itself).

OK, http://www.emiclassics.co.uk/release.php?id=14908 is the album in question, which gives the catalogue number as the abridged form.

I *think* this is the same release as http://musicbrainz.org/release/7692f35f-04b7-49... but I'm not sure. The disc ID differs, and the track times on the MB page are quite adrift from those given in the liner notes.

Plus that MB release is not in line with the CSG. Should I attempt to fix up the existing release or create a new one?

Take track 24: the booklet lists it as 5.26, and the MP3 is 5.25. But that disc is listed as 1.54.

I think that release is broken. I have no idea how you could get a 5 and a half minute fugue into 2 minutes.

So how do albums get flagged as candidates for removal?
