you just don't sort tracks

or, you do sort them, but always by the track number

would suffice for most cases, it's a lot better than current unsorted view

maybe we should put the poor-man-solution in now and plan the done-right-version later on?

if I get track list "4 - Asomqew, 2 - Bwerw, 10 - Cwrwer, 1 - Dwrwer" then it's definitely not better than unsorted view

I don't have picard open currently, it seemed to work better than this yesterday

well, in simple case to not sorting at certain level

defined as (level1 = (AscendingOrder, AlphaNumSorting), level2 = (DescendingOrder, TrackSorting), level3 = (RandomOrder, NoSorting))

Is it visible to a regular CD player?

Like if I put it into a cheap-o Discman one-off and tried to play that track, would I get to thoroughly enjoy having my ears bleed?

no idea, the info on discogs lists 8 tracks and mentions a cd-data track, we have the same release with 9 tracks, with last track as [unknown]

The last track should definitely be [data track] if that applies though, otherwise it gets yanked.

it should not affect you playing the CD in a normal cd player. the cd player will not see the track. and any trailing data tracks should be removed from MB entries
