there are add/edit buttons in properties that you can set albumartist or compliation = 1

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the idea of a "Compilation tag" is an itunes one isnt it?

As in, not something that Picard (/most other softwares?) use..

yeah i think picard just writes it for convenience. most players should go by album artist. though there may be other things beside iTunes/iPods

kurros: under "cluster", the folder where the files are listed, lists artist as Various Artists

jerndoe_: you really should add it to the musicbrainz db, but select all the tracks and pick details, set albumartist to Various Artists

there is a plugin you can download to just right click on the cluster and Add Release

if you already have the track names and such filled out properly

makes it a little easier

I was actually thinking of that, It would be easy to include 'User:navap/bio' and use that as a short bio on the profile page.

I aiso thought it would be nice to have a link to lastfm maybe?

not sure, but my checkout of acid2's master, turned into a checkout to see your branch, was complaining about it not being present when trying to restart the server on a checkout of your branch

may have to make the last two folders

had to pull not just your master, but also your musicnews branch, before it would start

Exactly, hence using User:BrianFreud/bio instead of User:BrianFreud

But, it allows the data to be in the same place - on the wiki.
