I have a FLAC album that consistantly crashes Picard 0.11

Oh, hm, looks like it only happens when I drag the whole album at a time

does it have embedded art?

i've noticed that if i reencode flac files with embedded art, then try to load them, picard crashes during fingerprinting

some kind of bug in ffmpeg

How does one go about finding if there's a PICTURE block without any special software?

The handful of files I managed with some effort to tag and import into Songbird don't have any artwork show up

Turning off "automatically scan all new files" enabled me to load them just fine and tag them

metaflac --list will show all the blocks

Not quite motivated enough to install a package containing metaflac now that I got the files tagged ;)

What if you manually add something after hitting GC, you only have an Undo button to click on.

yes, that had occurred to me too, but where else would we put an Undo button?

What did you think of a track 'Revert' button?

I think it would be a huge mistake to have only the undo visable after using GC

Personally, I don't use the mode selector all that much. In fact I can probably count on two hands the number of times I've used it.

depends what you work on...

I use it for French occasionally, but I switch between English and sentence all the time

easier/faster to change your global mode, then fix selected tracks, rather than deal with the little popup on every single track

I don't know about the rest of the userbase, but yes exactly it depends on what you work on..so I'm going to secommend adding a setting to enable having it there inline or not.

I can understand the need for it so I agree that having it inline would be a good time savor.

Makes more sense to me to keep all preferences as being set in one place, rather than have ES kept separate from other site preferences.

I found that yes it saved a button click, but the time saved there was more than lost when it happened and borked a non-GC release

Apparently, one can't add a release with two tracks of the same name.

Currently the hover text says "Tick this box to make this Artist editable."

same as the live site - when you submit the form, it brings you back to it but with a blank for artist

Is i18n also going to make it possible to add "the" infront of a band? "View all releases by Foo Foo Heads." vs "View all releases by the Foo Foo Heads.". Or is that something that isn't seen as needed?

that's not an i18n thing

Maybe not, but it becomes one when that phrase has to be translated.
