1983 WE GOT POWER: PARTY OR GO HOME released on Mystic Records, 40 tracks. 2005 Sixty Bands - Party or Go Home released on Mystic records with 62 tracks. How come we only have one entry with 57 tracks which seems neither one or the other
juhae
I suspect an incomplete mp3 download
Mudcrow
the whole thing looks bollixed, a lot of the band names are incorrect
juhae
I was just about to comment on Urban Assalt(?) (S.F.) and (Tahoe)
Mudcrow
both are actually called Urban Assault
juhae
Yup, that's what I though
Mudcrow
Whitecross should be White Cross
juhae
I'm not really familiar white US bands in general, of that era I only recognised White Flag, White Cross and Minutemen
They have a pretty neat east Europe section in the site
teleGUISE
being Japanese.. is the reason i ask
Mudcrow
i see no reason to be removing the word version, no matter what language it is telguise
timo
Mudcrow, I was just thinking; what if someone wants to buy the album in question, clicks on the 'Buy' link and is suddenly redirected to a french Amazon site
I mean, we can assume that people using MB know _English_
Kerensky97
many japanese sites use instrumental, instrumental version, karaoke.
Mudcrow
Timo: the amazon shop they get directed to is the one set in their prefs
Kerensky97
all to describe instrumental tracks
teleGUISE
i was assuming most track listings i'm familiar with usually just use the word (instrumental) and not (instrumental version) so didn't know what Japan listings did for sure.. (s)He is making quite a few of these edits so i assumed they knew or maybe they don't
I agree with Mudcrow, it's all the same thing so it's fine to make the database consistant.
ruaok finally catches up on mb-users
timo
Mudcrow, ah, that seems indeed to be the case, I had already forgotten about the setting
teleGUISE
timo... nevermind mudcro already said that ...
Mudcrow
usually if it says instrumental version, that means there is a version with vocals too. having *just* the word instrumental would refer to this track being an instrumental with no vocal version.
but that isnt always the way it works (like everything else)
also, could someone *please* edit the asin link texzt to somehow clarify that .com isn't the only url you can use?
timo
yes, please :]
Mudcrow prefers amazon.de most albums listed there have track listings, have cover art and it doesnt have cringy album reviews (that i can understand anyway)
nikki_ prefers anywhere that it's not listed as an import ;)
