I know it covers Europe and I know you can take animals into America, but I don't think you can bring them back without them having to undergo six months quarantine

but, unfortunately beth, you have rabies in the USA and we don't here

anyway, I cannot even get Henry to travel in a car without him creating an awful fuss, and that is just the 1/2 mile to the veterinary surgery

eww... that's nasty.. how horrible. Yes, I know rabies is something that happens here, but I think rabbid animals is almost as unheard of as scarlet fever anymore.. I could be wrong.

Just looked at the DEFRA website and you can take dogs and cats to and from the USA on the Pets Passport and it specifically excludes the Ukraine as it is not considered part of the Russian Federation

anyway beth, you would not want me to bring Henry. He weighs 14 lbs. (not an ounce of it fat - all muscle) and he would eat you out of house and home

inhouse - check out http://www.defra.gov.uk/animalh/quarantine/pets... It says there that your pet can qualify for early release from quarantine. I suppose you would have to have all necessary inoculations done in the Ukraine and have documentation

we get blackbirds, sparrows and sometimes blue tits, robins and thrushes, but the starlings tend to eat all the food if we try and feed them :/
