actually what I did was worked off nikki_'s report which had 112 then crossed it with yours

which had i believe 4 or 5 others that were bogus as well... leaving i think if you run your report again around 4 or 5 still that are German releases

so 117 total ...

there are 12 left on my report

would that have been at this minute or a few hour old data? Not sure when the last of my edits passed

replication runs on the hour and I grab the updates at 7 minutes past

i wondered how that worked.. so you dont grab the entire db every time you just grab updates and apply them.. is that right??

ok fixed those 2 others now!... whew.. so there were upwords of 120 bad dates which needed research for the correct ones, around 90+ that needed ASIN AR's added, around 15-20 that needed language and album attributes set

except in concert, you cooldn't get a 45 minute track on an a single side of an LP

45 minutes is even long for tull in concert, 15-20 minutes maybe

it adds up to the same time the split release totals.. which was the last link i posted.. so that was my guess that it is a homebrew single track version of the real split one

that puts it in the middle of the UK and US date thats entered...

yea.. anything that old i being to wonder how accurate they are... i gather thats why many dates that long ago just have a year without month or day

amg has "thick as a brick" track lengths for the original LP as: 1) 22:45, 2) 21:05, 3) 11:48 (live)

track 4 is "Interview with Jethro Tull's Ina Anderson, Martin Barre, and Jeffrey Ha" 16:28

That's the reissue.

for the CD

The original LP had two tracks due to 2 LP sides. The original CD had the song split in two just like the LP. Then there's that 4-track reissue with the live and interview tracks.

inhouseuk: not sure I want this but how hard would it be to now scour US release dates that aren't tuesday's .. obviously only the ones with complete dates??

I'm almost certain I recall a pressing of Thick with it all as one track, but it was a long time back and I'm not really a fan so I've forgotten details. Hard to google for it too.

if it's valid let me know and ill delete the edit.. I just based it off of the looks of it and everything i found

im not going to change anything uncertain... im guessing ill find a lot US dates that are entered on Mondays.. aka the UK ones and things of that nature

amazon lists that type of stuff alot.. ill see the amazon us site list UK dates and the amazon UK site list the US date

it was interesting to see that about 80-90% of the bogus 1990-10-25 US amazon dates found, that they were shown to be released in 1988 or 1989

i'd say 1988, 1989, 1985, 1984 in order

IIRC amazon had a pretty serious data load hitch in the late '90s ('98) it's in the annual report, "technology risks"
