Because of this, I hate VBRfix with a passion.

Because it botched all of the songs I ran through it.

I am afraid it is one obsession I cannot understand - don't like mp3 - hate ipods - would never have one

mp3 sound quality is terrible compared with CD's

I decided I didn't like the bitrate

I couldn't tell the difference, but I didn't like the number I'd been using

That's why all my songs are encoded in Ogg Vorbis.

And I don't use an iPod.

Then again, most people's hearing isn't that good.

I tried oggs too, but then I got concerned about whether I'd ripped them at the same quality level and thought "screw it" and decided to use flacs
