chocomo: I'll see if I can get that done for the next release.
but no promises. what if *I* send chocolate to you?
Good, guess I still remember how to write hangul. :)
nikki_
hehe
I'm always mixing up a and eo
how much korean do you know?
rowaasr13
Almost none. I can read it a bit, but almost always have to fetch hangul chart that is lying behind my display.
nikki_
hmm!
I can read hangul fairly well now, but know barely any korean
I'm limited to... um... annyeong haseyo and aniyo right now
it's just no fun without a dictionary...
rowaasr13
Maybe I should pick up a book or fire up that program for beginners I've downloaded once, so I can at last completely memorize hangul and learn at least some grammar...
nikki_
I used to be able to say my name is nikki
but even that's gone now :(
rowaasr13
Wow, you're so advanced! I'm so far away from that. :)
nikki_
I used to be able to write random sentences in russian too, but then I turned 20 which completely messed me up -- I only learnt to count to 19!
languages are too easy to forget :(
rowaasr13
On similar note I really should study japanese more. I'm not even sure I pass 2-kyuu, because I slacked entire year - only passive learning by hearing, not even one new release of my J->R dictionary. :(
nikki_
my japanese has gone out the window too
rowaasr13
I also rarely write it. I can read pretty hard text (well, I still have look in dictionary, but still) but when it comes to writing, it takes hours for me to write one sentence. :(
nikki_
I'm no good at either
I can sometimes do random sentences which may or may not make sense, because I've never had much chance to practise with people who know what they're saying
rowaasr13
I'm just too lazy. I guess I should find initiative to write it more. Even basic lessons will do as long as someone will pester me to complete tasks.
Either that or in a few years I just learn it automagically, as it was with english. :)
nikki_
likeee... watashi wa nijuusai desu, watashi no me ga aoi, chokoreito o taberu, chokomiruku ga hoshii, mise e ikou!
nikki_ giggles
nikki_ is reminded of the time she said 'german is cheap' by accident
nikki_ is can't stop giggling now
rowaasr13
ima taberu ka? soretomo "tabetai" to?
nikki_
hmm.
I would be eating chocolate if I had any :)
nikki_ googles
yeah, tabetai
rowaasr13
Ahh... I just love japanese for omiting words. When you forget something just omit the damn thing and everybody will understand you. :)
nikki_ laughs
nikki_
"eeeto..." "wow! really!"
rowaasr13
I couldn't remember what to use there after "to" so I just left it as is. Convient. The only language that is better at this would be Plyuk's language from Kin-Dza-Dza (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kin-dza-dza) - they've got only two words.
Speaking of japanese and Kin-Dza-Dza. Japanese are really good at selling merchandise. Why the hell it is russian cult film, but you can buy "tsak" only in Japan?
